Founded as a manufacturer for fishing needles and wire processing in Kusukuki-cho, Hiroshima.

1950

Began manufacturing of hand-knitting needles

1953

Started manufacturing and exporting of crochet hooks, and knitting needles for handicrafts.

1955

Acquired trademark rights of the Tulip brand.

1963

Corporate organization formed as Harada Seishinsho Co., Ltd. with a capital of J\2,000,000.

1965

Established Kake Factory in the former Kake-cho, Yamagata-gun, Hiroshima (now Akiota-cho)

1966

Capital increased to J\5,000,000.-

1970

Company Name changed to Tulip Co.,Ltd.
Capital increased to J\7,500,000.

1973

Received Most Valuable Product Award at the 14th All Japan Small-Size Company Importing Exhibition.
Capital increased to J\10,500,000.-

1976

With rapid increase in sales volume of needles, crochet hooks, and knitting needles for handicrafts, new investments were made to expand the Kake Factory.
Production equipment was transferred to the Kake Factory.

1979

Implemented quality control system.
Started manufacturing precise probes for microelectronics industries.

1980

QC circle activity started.
Started manufacturing contact probes.

1981

QC circle contest began.
Exhibited in the Handerbeit exhibition in then-West Germany.

1982

Second expansion on the Kake factory.
Increased capacity and flexibility to match market demands.

1983

Authorized as a JIS (Japanese Industry Standards) licensed factory. (JIS S 3008)

1990

Tulip Corporation Co., Ltd. was established.

1991

New headquarters building was built.

1996

First participation of JPCA show.

2000

Established Misasa Factory.

2002

Established Yuki R&D center.

2003

55th anniversary of our foundation.

2006

First participation of Tokyo International Great Quilt Festival.

2007

Expanding Yuki R&D center adding a clean room.

2008

60th anniversary of our foundation.
[Hiroshima-Baris]trademark has been registered by Japan Patent office.
